In accordance with Articles 6.9, 7.2.b), 8.9, 9.5 and 11.b) of Regulation 2019/1009* (FPR), manufacturers or their authorized representatives or distributors on the Belgian market, importers and distributors who package or repackage an EU fertilising product, must transmit to the FPS Public Health Food Chain Safety and Environment, DGAPF, Plant Protection Products and Fertilisers Department :
- the EU declaration of conformity and, where applicable,
- the EU type-examination certificate (module A1 and module B) or
- the quality system approval decision (module D1).
The aim is to provide an overview of the Belgian market in order to identify potential risks to the safety of the food chain. Initially, the information gathered will be compiled for statistical purposes.
Before 31 december 2025, these documents must be sent by e-mail to ‘fertilisingproducts@health.fgov.be’ with as title:
[Tradename] PFC[nummer] module[letter]
